മനുഷ്വത്വമില്ലായ്മ ജനാധിപത്യ രാജ്യത്തിന് അഭികാമ്യമോ ?
ലോകത്തിലെ വലിയ ജനാധിപത്യ രാജ്യം എന്ന് അവകാശപ്പെടുന്ന നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്ത്, ഇന്ന് കാണപ്പെടുന്നത് മനുഷ്യാവകാശ ലംഘനങ്ങളും മനുഷ്യത്വപരമല്ലാത്ത കാര്യങ്ങളുമാണ് എന്ന് പറയാതിരിക്കാൻ കഴിയില്ല. ഒരു മുന്നറിയിപ്പും ഇല്ലാതെ പെട്ടന്നുണ്ടായ ലോക്ക് ഡൌൺ പ്രഖ്യാപനത്തിലൂടെ യാത്രാമധ്യത്തിൽ പെട്ടവരും താമസ യോഗ്യമല്ലാത്ത ഇടങ്ങളിൽ വന്നു ചേർന്നവരും തെരുവിൽ അലയുന്നവരുടെയും പ്രയാസങ്ങൾ കേൾക്കാൻ ഭരണകൂടത്തിന് വീഴ്‌ച സംഭവിച്ചു എന്നതിൽ സംശയമില്ല. പുറത്തിറങ്ങുന്നവരുടെ ശരിയായ ആവശ്യം മനസ്സിലാക്കാതെ അവരെ ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തിയോ ദേഹോപദ്രവത്തിലൂടെയോ ആട്ടിയോടിക്കുന്ന പ്രവണതയാണ് ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുള്ളത്. ജനങ്ങളുടെ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾ മനസ്സിലാക്കി, അവർക്ക്‌ ഒഴിവാക്കാൻ കഴിയാത്ത കാര്യങ്ങളാൽ യാത്ര ആവശ്യമെങ്കിൽ അതിനു വേണ്ട സഹായം ചെയ്തുകൊടുക്കുകയല്ലേ മനുഷ്വത്വപരം. അതിഥി തൊഴിലാളികൾ റോഡിലിറങ്ങിയാൽ അവരുടെ പേര് വിവരങ്ങളും അവരുടെ ആവശ്യവും മനസിലാക്കുന്നതിന് പകരം അവരെ വിരട്ടി ഓടിക്കുകയല്ലേ ചെയ്യുന്നത്. അത്യാവശ്യ സെർവീസുകൾക്കുവേണ്ടി എല്ലാ ഗതാഗതമാർഗങ്ങളും രാജ്യത്തുടനീളം ഏതു സാഹചര്യത്തിലും പ്രവർത്തിക്കുകയാണ് വേണ്ടത്. പ്രവാസികളുടെ കാര്യത്തിലും മനുഷ്വത്തപരമല്ലാത്ത സമീപനം ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട് എന്നതിൽ സംശയമില്ല. നമ്മുടെ പൗരന്മാർ ഏതു രാജ്യത്താണെങ്കിലും അടിയന്തര ഘട്ടങ്ങളിൽ സമയബന്ധിതമായി അവരെ നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്ത് എത്തിക്കാൻ നമ്മുക്ക് കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ടോ എന്ന് ചിന്തിക്കേണ്ടതാണ്. അടിയന്തര സഹായമാവശ്യമുള്ള വ്യക്തികൾക്ക് യഥാ സമയത്തു സഹായം നല്കുകയല്ലേ വേണ്ടത്. ഗർഭിണികൾ, മറ്റു അടിയന്തര സാഹചര്യങ്ങളിൽ ജന്മ നാട്ടിൽ എത്താൻ വേണ്ടി കാത്തിരുന്നവർ, അവരുടെയൊക്കെ ആത്മവിശ്വാസം തന്നെ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. പൗരന്മാരുടെ ആവശ്യങ്ങളെ ചെവിക്കൊള്ളാതെയും അവരുടെ പ്രയാസഘട്ടങ്ങളിൽ അവരെ സഹായിക്കാൻ കൂട്ടാക്കാത്തതുമായ ഒരു ജനാധിപത്യ വ്യവസ്ഥിതി യാണോ നമ്മുക്ക് ഉള്ളത്. നയതന്ത്ര തീരുമാനങ്ങൾ വേണ്ട സമയത്തു എടുക്കാത്തതിലുണ്ടായ പ്രയാസങ്ങളല്ലേ ഇന്ന് നമ്മൾ അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇനിയെങ്കിലും നമ്മുടെ പൗരന്മാരെ കഷ്ടപെടുത്താതെ അവരുടെ ആവശ്യങ്ങളുടെ ഗൗരവം മനസ്സിലാക്കി സാമ്പത്തികമോ യാത്രാസൗകര്യമോ ഭക്ഷണമോ ഏതാണ് ആവശ്യം എന്നതിലേക്ക് സത്ത്വര പരിഹാരം കാണുകയാണ് ഒരു ജനാധിപത്യ സർക്കാർ ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്.

A group of former students of SSL Jain college, Vidisha, Bhopal has formed an Alumni whatsApp group on 02 April 2020. As of today 10th April 2020 the group increased to 115 members from different corners of the world. This group became a plat form of online reunion of friends after 3 decade. many of the friends shared their old and new photos, group photos and other memories. In this group, all members are admin and they can add their friends. A membership form can fill and post into the group as a self introduction.
About SSL Jain College, Vidisha
A prime institute of higher learning in the district Vidisha , as there is no government post graduate college at district head quarter .The college was established in 1958, since then it has been imparting education to The students form different corners of the country .In 1970 post graduate departments have started functioning which attracted the students from Kerala, Andhra, Tamilnadu, West Bengal, Manipur and the neighbouring sate U.P. besides the students of the state .It one of the biggest college of Barkatullaha University, Bhopal which has all the facilities of science, Arts, Commerce and Law, we have well qualified teaching staff with maximum M .Phil and Ph .D qualification we are proud to say that former principal of this college Prof .K.C. Nair has been appointed as Vice- Chancellor of Barkatullaha University in 1991 and one of our colleagues is now the Vice chancellor of Sagar university. We feel highly pleased to present our self for assessment and accreditation by the National Assessment & Accreditation council (NAAC).
Prof. K. C. Nair was the Principal of the SSL Jain College during the time of study of most of alumni members in this group and every one remembers Nair Saab and his great leadership. The members are expressed their interest to continue this Alumni association in a well organized manner. Charity works, Arrange picnics, Matrimonial services, Birthday celebrations, Jobs and career developments, Agricultural and business activities , Arrange functions, Cultural activities etc. are the proposed activities suggested by the members.
